Picture Overload of Texas

 Our little Vivint girl! She had to be just like Daddy!

 She loved the little white board and markers Grandma gave her! Yep, She's a lefty.

Church fun: Nick found a mustache and Alan is just grumpy.

 We found a cute little tu-tu swimsuit at wal-mart and she just had to have it. Little Princess!

 Movie Time. Yep, that was our "TV" for 3 months in Texas.

 Every time we went to Wal-mart, she had to give Dumbo hugs. I let her ride it once. She loved it!

 She loves dipping her fries in the Frosty.

 Our little lady is officially potty trained. Every day she didn't have an accident she got a Car from the movie Cars. She got a nice collection of Cars, loves the movie Cars and Cars 2 and also is a big girl.

 Nick was exhausted, laid on the floor. She laid on him and said "This is my big bed".

 She wanted a scooter so Nick creatively made one out of Cardboard. She loved it!

 Poor girl fell down the cement apartment stairs. It was scary but she only fell down a step. Thank goodness it wasn't worse. She got a nice little mark though.

 Our hand-made counting and colors books. She had a lot of fun making them.

 She loved the fact that she could reach everything in the fridge. I caught her drinking her juice out of the container.

 Hugging the "star guy" at NASA. She loved going to NASA to watch the spaceship movie and play at the play place.

 We went on a NASA tour to see the control room they used in the 80s and also for the movie Apollo 13. It was neat to see and sit in the rooms where the families of the astronauts got to sit or talk to them while they were on the shuttle.

 We made a some bowling pins out of Toilet Paper Rolls and she loved it. It was a lot of fun and a cheap way to entertain a two year old.

 She wanted a Big Z necklace after watching Surfs Up. We found one at the Galveston Beach and She didn't ever want to take it off.

 This is what Malleya and Nick did every day. They would blow kisses to each other and try and dodge them to not get hit with them. She loved it but didn't like having to say bye to Daddy.

 Another cardboard project. She wanted a guitar and Nick made one.

 Bubble Bath Fun!

 Nicks favorite football team, the 49ers, played against the Houston Texans. It was fun but those Texan fans were a bit much. They were very hard core fans. Malleya loved being with her cousin and dancing to the music.

 On our way back home to Utah, we stopped at the Houston Temple. It was very different and unique. I wish we would have lived closer to it to actually be able to go inside it and do a session. It was about an hour and a half  away. Malleya loved going around temple and really enjoyed the pretty flowers and fountain by it as well.

 We stayed over at my brother Marshalls place. I woke up and Malleyas face was in my face. Nick said that her feet were in his face all night. She is quite the mover when she sleeps.

What a drive it was to finally see this sign. On the drive, we experienced a tornado, a flood, many interesting potty break places and lots of sweat. Malleya was a trooper all the way and entertained herself in the back the whole way. I was so happy we were able to stay with my grandparents half way in New Mexico. I'm very happy to be home, surrounded by mountains and family. We sure missed Utah this summer.

Wow, I have a lot of pictures from our adventure in Texas. It was not the best summer and we really missed Utah. Nick worked a lot and was outside all day. I got to swim and stay in an air conditioned apartment. I was happy to see some family on the way there and back. What an adventure. We became a lot closer as a family and to the Lord. Many prayers were said during this Summer. It was rough and like I've said a MILLION times....its great to be back in UTAH!!!!!!
